On Thursday, February 20, Robert J. Munnelly, Jr., a shareholder at Boston law firm Davis Malm, served as a panelist at the National Cannabis Industry Association’s (NCIA) CannaVest East Conference. The conference focused on cannabis investment for institutional investors and family offices. The panel, “Navigating the Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Maze” discussed today’s evolving federal laws regulating the recreational cannabis industry. Mr. Munnelly was joined by Scottie Gordon, Vice President of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs at Curaleaf; Llyod Pierre-Louis, Parter at Dickinson Wright; Hirsh Jain, Director of Government Affairs at Caliva; Joseph Lekach, CEO of Apothca; and Nicholas Odille, Principal at HBK Bank.
