Day Pitney LLP announced today that April F. Condon has joined the firm as a partner in the Real Estate and Environmental group in its Stamford office. She joins from Robinson & Cole LLP.

“April has significant experience advising clients on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions across the country,” said Scott Beach, chair of Day Pitney’s Corporate and Business Law department. “Her diverse practice and capabilities are an excellent fit for our team and will deepen our service offering to clients. Condon focuses her practice on commercial real estate law and has vast experience handling real estate leasing, sales, and acquisitions. In the area of real estate leasing, she represents tenants, owners, and developers in connection with office, commercial, retail, and industrial leases throughout the United States. She has been involved in hundreds of national lease transactions, representing both landlords and tenants, and has assisted several national and international clients with leasing their corporate headquarters.

Additionally, Condon has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing complex and varied real estate transactions, assisting clients in all aspects of the sale and purchase of commercial real estate. She also represents developers in the acquisition and development of commercial real estate and has drafted and negotiated the development and joint venture agreements for numerous matters.

Condon’s professional affiliations include serving on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut & Suburban New York Chapter of the NAIOP – Commercial Real Estate Development Association. She also holds memberships with the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law and the Connecticut Bar Association Real Property Section. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Stamford Partnership, the primary civic organization in Stamford.

Condon regularly engages in pro bono work. She has represented Connecticut Legal Services, Inc., a non-profit legal aid organization that assists low-income residents, for all of its real estate needs for the past 15 years.

Condon received her B.A. from Georgetown University and her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. She is admitted in Connecticut and New York.
