Foley Hoag Promotes Nine Attorneys to Partnership

Foley Hoag LLP has announced the elevations of Gabrielle Bernstein, Kathleen Brill, Corey Brown, Caroline Donovan, Christopher Escobedo Hart, Erik Huestis, Janine Ladislaw, Natasha Reed and Ryan Rourke Reed to partnership status at the firm, effective January 1, 2020.

  • Gabrielle Bernstein. Bernstein maintains a general business practice, advising public and private companies on a wide range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions and general corporate governance. She also advises private investment funds, including private equity and venture capital funds and hedge funds, in all aspects of their business.
  • Kathleen Brill. Brill concentrates her practice on complex environmental and land use matters. She leverages her experience in the environmental consulting and real estate development fields to assist her clients in acquiring, protecting and developing properties.
  • Corey Brown. Brown concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions and has significant experience representing financial sponsors and public and private companies in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including minority investments, divestitures and recapitalizations. He also has experience advising portfolio companies of private equity funds on general corporate matters
  • Caroline Donovan. Donovan is a litigator whose practice focuses on white-collar crimes and investigations and complex civil litigations. She has represented companies and executives across a diverse array of industries, including the healthcare and financial services industries. Donovan focuses on strategic solutions for her clients, working closely with them to resolve matters most effectively, whether through trial, arbitration, mediation or informal processes.
  • Christopher Escobedo Hart. With significant trial litigation, appellate advocacy and data privacy and security experience, Hart has represented sovereign nations, Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, non-profits and individuals in a wide variety of contexts.
  • Erik Huestis. Huestis' practice encompasses patent prosecution and strategy with a focus on innovations in computer science, as well as high technology aspects of intellectual property litigation, export control, licensing and corporate transactions.
  • Janine Ladislaw. Ladislaw’s practice focuses on strategic IP counseling, including managing global patent portfolios, developing strategies for patent prosecution, conducting due diligence assessments of patent portfolios in connection with business transactions and performing patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
  • Natasha Reed. Reed’s practice covers all aspects of trademark and copyright law with an emphasis on global protection for multinational businesses. Shespecializes in IP enforcement and anti-counterfeiting/anti-piracy litigation.
  • Ryan Rourke Reed. Reed focuses on general corporate and securities law matters and mergers and acquisitions. He represents public and private companies in a broad range of strategic transactions and counsels clients on all aspects of their business including corporate governance matters.
