Barry R. Crimmins and Noreen O’Toole
New firm builds on the strengths of both of its principals, who have a total of over 60 years combined experience in land use permitting and consulting for both private sector and public sector clients.
Barry R. Crimmins, founder and principal of the Law Offices of Barry R. Crimmins, P.C., focusing in the areas of real estate law and land use permitting, and Noreen O’Toole, former Stoughton Town Planner, whose resume includes similar positions in Hanson and Hanover, today announced the launch of their new firm, Platinum Partners, LLC.
Platinum Partners, LLC is a land use permitting and consulting firm serving Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. The firm specializes in both residential and commercial development, land use permitting, project management, and municipal consulting services. Combining the legal expertise of Crimmins with the municipal planning experience of O’Toole uniquely positions the new firm to advise both private sector clients in all aspects of the permitting process, as well as public sector clients with reviewing and updating their zoning and land use regulations.
The services that Platinum Partners, LLC provides include project management, regulatory analysis, feasibility studies, and zoning and land use permitting for the private sector. For the public sector, they review and update local zoning bylaws and land use regulations, and provide municipal planning and consulting services on a local and regional basis.
The idea for Platinum Partners, LLC stems from the separate but similar experiences of both Crimmins and O’Toole. Crimmins specializes in land use planning and development and municipal permitting, among other areas. He is a long-time member of the Stoughton Housing Authority, currently serving as its Chairman. He has assisted with the permitting for many private clients, including HarborOne Bank, Cumberland Farms, and BJ’s Wholesale Club, to name just a few.
O’Toole comes to Platinum Partners, LLC after serving as Stoughton’s Town Planner for the last eight years and as Hanson’s Town Planner for 24 years prior to then. She has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Northeastern University, and started her career in urban planning working for the Boston Redevelopment Authority. She currently serves as Chairperson on the Old Colony Planning Council’s Joint Transportation Committee. The Old Colony Planning Council is the regional planning agency serving several Southeastern Massachusetts communities.
“We are both very eager to move forward with this new venture and are excited for the opportunity to serve our clients in this new capacity,” said Crimmins, who has over thirty years of experience in the field of land use permitting.
O’Toole, an urban planner with over thirty years of experience in the public sector, added “from my experience working in the public sector, I feel that the services our firm will be able to provide are extremely important to the communities in this area, many of whom do not have the in-house personnel and resources which our firm can offer. We look forward to working with a variety of clients as they deal with various land use permitting issues.”
