Samuel B. Moskowitz, a shareholder at Boston law firm Davis, Malm & D’Agostine, presented on the recent Appeals Court decision inRauseo v. Board of Assessors of Boston, 94 Mass App. Ct. 517 (2018), at the May 2019 spring meeting of The Abstract Club. That recent decision allows municipalities to tax, for the first time, parking rights reserved by condominium developers, opening up what could prove to be a lucrative income stream for cash-strapped cities and a new concern for developers.

Mr. Moskowitz practices in the Real Estate, Business, and Litigation areas at Davis Malm. He has extensive experience in a broad range of real estate matters, including all facets of condominium law, title matters, and real estate litigation. In his almost 40-year legal career, Mr. Moskowitz has developed an acknowledged expertise in both residential and commercial condominium development, operation, and financing.
