Boston law firm Sherin and Lodgen LLP announces that firm partner, Bethany A. Bartlett, has earned recognition as a Six Star Finisher in the Abbot World Marathon Majors, Series XII. Bartlett completed her last race in the series at the Tokyo Marathon on March 3, 2019. As of July 2018 only 3,800 people had completed the Abbott World Marathon Majors.

Bartlett is chair of Sherin and Lodgen’s Renewable Energy Practice Group, and a partner in the Real Estate Department. She focuses her practice on transactional real estate and includes project finance, the acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of both developed and to-be-developed properties, including land use, zoning, title and permitting matters, as well as conservation and deed restrictions for the preservation of open space. She has a specialty concentration in representing lenders in complex financing transactions, particularly portfolio debt financing for commercial solar development which includes Investment Tax Credit investors and various state incentive programs. Bartlett represents solar developers, land owners and off takers in negotiating ground and rooftop leases and power purchase agreements. She also represents debt lenders in financing New Market and Historic Tax Credit projects.

The AbbottWMM Series is made up of six of the largest and most renowned marathons in the world, including: Tokyo Marathon, Boston Marathon, Virgin Money London Marathon, BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, Bank of America Chicago Marathon, and TCS New York City Marathon. The series began in 2006 and its marathons form an annual series to determine the world's best male and female marathon runners and wheelchair competitors. The organizers of the marathons are united in the effort to advance the sport, raise awareness of its elite athletes, and increase the level of interest in elite racing among running enthusiasts.
