Megan A. Chacon
Fish & Richardson has selected principal Megan A. Chacon to join the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s 2019 Fellows Program, a landmark program that identifies, trains and advances the next generation of legal industry leaders.
“Through our roster of Fish alumni we’ve seen firsthand the doors the LCLD’s programs can open with the training our attorneys receive and the connections they make,” said Fish principal Ahmed J. Davis, national chair of the firm’s Diversity Initiative. “We are excited to see Megan join this talented class of attorneys in this well-earned opportunity to develop her leadership skills and further diversity initiatives at Fish and the industry at large.”
The year-long Fellows Program provides its participants, who are committed to fostering diversity at their institutions and in the profession, with relationship-building opportunities, in-person training, peer-group projects and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership and the industry’s top teachers. Each class of Fellows also serves as mentors to those who follow.
LCLD is a national organization of more than 300 legal officers and managing partners from the country’s leading law firms and corporations who are committed to creating a truly diverse legal profession. One of the LCLD’s most important initiatives, the Fellows Program has trained more than 1,600 mid-career attorneys since 2011.
