Boston law firm Sherin and Lodgen LLP announces that Sara Jane Shanahan, chair of the firm’s Litigation Department and co-chair of the Business Litigation Practice Group, co-chaired the 18th Annual Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Business Litigation Conference and led the opening panel, “Year-in-Review: Top 10 Cases.” The conference provided developments in new business litigation and important case law, including an overview of the new landscape of noncompete and trade secrets law, insights on the Anti-SLAPP statute, and analysis of the evolving world of fiduciary duty. The event was held at the Boston MCLE Conference Center on Friday, February 8, 2019.
Shanahan’s practice focuses on complex business litigation and insurance coverage disputes. She represents a variety of clients such as hedge funds and investment managers, generic pharmaceutical manufacturers, national retailers, insurers, insureds, shareholders of closely-held corporations and officers and directors of public corporations.
