PLAINVILLE, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sean Crowell has joined Loureiro Engineering (Loureiro) as a Vice President to support the North Carolina Office. Headquartered in Plainville, Connecticut., with offices in Groton, Connecticut., New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, North Carolina, and Washington, D.C., Loureiro is an employee-owned, full-service multi-disciplinary firm providing engineering, environmental health and safety, energy, facility, waste management consulting, construction, and laboratory analytical services.

Sean has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and began his professional career in 2001 as a Project Engineer working for an environmental consulting firm in Massachusetts. In 2003 he began his career with AECOM, over the next 15 years he progressed within in the company and most recently held the title Department Manager. While at AECOM, Sean also served as a national lead verifier for several technical practice areas including: vapor intrusion, chemical remediation, in-situ bioremediation, MGP remediation, non-aqueous phase liquids and physical mechanical remediation.
