Bridgewell Appoints Christopher Tuttle as Chief Operating Officer

Bridgewell, a nonprofit providing social and human services that empower people with disabilities and other life challenges to live safe, self-directed and productive lives,announces the addition of Christopher Tuttle as chief operating officer.

As COO, Tuttle will be responsible for the overall administration of programs and defined administrative services within Bridgewell.As part of this role, he willoversee and provide strategic direction for operational activities in support of regulations, policies, goals and objectives, including maintaining the exceptional quality of Bridgewell’s services. Tuttle will also be actively involved in external activities that impact industry direction and enhance the operations of Bridgewell.

“Having worked in human services for my entire professional career, I look forward to joining Bridgewell and collaborating with the organization’s talented staff to continue improving our critical programs and activities,” said Tuttle. “Together, we can ensure Bridgewell is prepared and able to address all future challenges, including MassHealth payment reform, head on.”

Tuttle, a Beverly resident, previously served as director of operations for NFI Massachusetts, Inc., supervising the senior managers of five divisions and overseeing the organization’s budget, helping it grow from $18 million to $30 million over a four-year period. He was alsodirector of behavioral health and director of adolescent residential services at NFI Massachusetts. Prior tothis, Tuttle was director of the Northeast Regional Resource Center, health and education services, in Beverly. Tuttle earned a Masters of Nonprofit Management from Regis University and a BS from Metropolitan State College. He is also a member of Children’s Service, CEO/Leadership Committee for the Association for Behavioral Healthcare, vice chair of the Department of Youth Services Provider Group, and a Board member for the Children’s League of Massachusetts.
