Robert Chow has joined Foley Hoag LLP as a partner in the Business Department and member of the Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practice group. He will be resident in the firm’s Boston office.
Chow advises entrepreneurs, venture investors and emerging growth companies at all stages of development, including formation and governance issues, equity and compensation matters, venture capital financings, technology licensing, securities law and other regulatory compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Chow also represents a variety of social media clients and software companies, including those developing “cloud computing” applications, data quality assurance solutions, mobile applications and collaboration software.

Prior to joining Foley Hoag, Chow was a partner in the Boston office of Pepper Hamilton, where he was a co-leader of the Emerging Company practice group. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from University of California, Davis and a Master of Jurisprudence and Juris Doctorate from University of California, Berkeley.
