GZA, a multi-disciplinary firm providing environmental, geotechnical, ecological, water and construction management services, today announced that Darin Goodwin, MPH, CHMM, RBP has joined the company as a Senior Project Manager.

In his role with GZA, Goodwin will be responsible for providing a broad range of Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Safety assistance to GZA clients across a wide range of client sectors. He will provide expertise in the following regulatory program areas: H&S Policies, Programs, Procedures development; Incident Reporting, Root Cause Analysis; OSHA Compliance, Safety Audits, Inspections and reporting; Due Diligence, Risk Reduction; H&S Training (General Industry & Construction); Industrial Hygiene, Exposure Monitoring and reporting; Medical Surveillance; General Safety, Physical Hazard Controls; Indoor Air Quality, Mold; Building Hazard Evaluation; Construction Safety; Emergency Preparedness and Response; Confined Space Entry; HAZWOPER, hazardous materials management.

Prior to joining GZA Goodwin served as the Envirnomental Safety Program Manager and Emergency Preparation Coordinator at the Miriam Hospital, Lifespan in East Providence, RI. His experience includes working as a Laboratory Safety Support Officer and Biosafety Officer at Tufts University. His experience includes Biosafety, Radiation Safety, Chemical Safety, Laboratory Safety, Training, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Plans, Regulatory Compliance and Operations.

A resident of Norton, MA, Goodwin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Bridgewater State University and a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University. He is a Certified Hazardous Material Manager and Registered Biosafety Professional. He is a former Co-chair for Massachusetts Biotechnology Council; Safety, Environment and Facilities Committee.
