
Ray Gandy
CBIZ announces the hiring of Ray Gandy as a Director and leader of the IT Risk and Security Practice in New England. Ray is based in the Boston office.
In his role with CBIZ, Ray will lead his team in providing IT risk and security services that help protect organizations against cyber-related threats and vulnerabilities, prevent data loss, improve and strengthen IT controls, and minimize business disruptions.
“Ray’s significant IT security experience, coupled with his proven leadership abilities, makes him ideally suited to lead and grow our IT Risk and Security Practice,” said Scott Wragg, Senior Managing Director of the New England offices. “As a member of the CBIZ team, Ray will further enhance the advisory services we provide to our clients in New England.”
Ray’s IT leadership expertise encompasses the areas of security & controls, strategy, infrastructure, applications, and finance. His experience includes developing and implementing strategic plans, executing large-scale integrations, improving operations, optimizing quality, strengthening security, controlling costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Ray’s prior work experience includes over 23 years at United Technologies Corporation (UTC), where he held several positions including Global IT Audit Director, Chief Information Officer for the Power Division, and Director of Infrastructure & IT Security Officer at UTC Aerospace Systems. Ray also served as the Security, Infrastructure, and Acquisition Integration lead on the largest acquisition in UTC history. Preceding UTC, Ray worked as an IT applications developer/analyst at General Dynamics, as well as Raytheon.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Ray is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), SANS Institute, Information Systems Auditing & Control Association (ISACA) and serves as a Board Member of American Eagle Financial Credit Union.
