Pepper Hamilton Adds Rebecca F. Alperin as of Counsel

Pepper Hamilton LLP announced today that Rebecca F. Alperin has joined the firm as of counsel in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group, resident in the Boston office.

Ms. Alperin’s practice focuses on ERISA related matters and executive compensation for private, nonprofit and public companies. She advises clients on all aspects of employee benefits and ERISA, including the design and administration of their qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, plan terminations and mergers, ESOPs, fiduciary issues, health and welfare and equity compensation plans. In addition, Rebecca has substantial experience in preparing and negotiating IRS and DOL submissions for voluntary compliance programs and in negotiating PBGC settlements.

Prior to joining Pepper, Ms. Alperin was counsel in Hinckley Allen’s employee benefits practice. Ms. Alperin received her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1993, her M.I.L.R. from Cornell University in 1988 and her B.A. from University of Rochester in 1986.

Ms. Alperin is a member of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar and a member of the National Center for Employee Ownership.
