A group of three Hartford litigation attorneys, and two staff members, have joined the litigation law firm of Seiger Gfeller Laurie LLP. Gerald L. Garlick and Linda Clifford Hadley have been named Partners and Craig M. Lovely has been named as an Associate. Paralegal Ellen Rohner and Emily Dwelley have joined the firm as administrative support as well. Including this addition, Seiger Gfeller Laurie LLP now has a total of 24 employees including 14 attorneys.

Gerald (‘Jerry’) Garlick’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, including the representation of banks, title insurance companies, corporations and individuals. In addition to his litigation experience, Garlick also has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate, including representing lenders, borrowers, sellers, and purchasers in matters involving lender liability, title insurance issues, litigation theories and tactics and real property issues.
Active in the community, Jerry has held past positions as a member of the Board of Directors of the Farmington Valley YMCA and the Board of Directors of Hartford Proud & Beautiful (a division of the Greater Hartford Arts Council). He has also spent many years as a volunteer travel soccer coach for the Simsbury Soccer Club, for which he was recognized in 2003 as National Coach of the Year by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Garlick is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, the United States District Court, Connecticut and the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. He holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A., magna cum laude from State University of New York at Albany.

Linda Clifford Hadley focuses her practice on representing national and community banks, other non-bank lenders and small to medium-sized businesses. She is knowledgeable about Connecticut foreclosure law, creditors' rights and sound collection practices. She also has extensive experience in shopping center leasing and in commercial and residential landlord-tenant matters. Hadley is a member of the Connecticut Community Bankers Association, the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association and the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.
In the community, Linda is a Founding Member (and former member of the Board of Trustees) of the Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame, a non-profit organization which honors Connecticut women; and she has served as an Officer and Board Member of local youth hockey organizations. She is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and the United States District Court, Connecticut. Linda holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude from Colby College.

Craig M. Lovely practices in the areas of foreclosures and collections, creditor’s rights and real estate. He is an American Bar Certified Mediator and regularly represents financial institutions in foreclosure and collection matters ranging from mediation and settlement to bank-owned real estate closings. Craig is also a member of the Real Property Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and holds a J.D. from Arizona Summit School of Law and a B.G.S. from the University of Connecticut.
