Connecticut advertising agency Mintz + Hoke has been selected as one of the Best Places to Work in Connecticut for 2017, earning the top spot for an advertising and marketing agency and third place overall in the small/medium-size employer category by the Hartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group.

Now in its twelfth year in Connecticut, the Best Places survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers state-wide in Connecticut, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. The Best Places to Work list comprises 40 companies split into two categories: 26 small/medium-sized companies and 14 large-sized companies (200 or more US employees). This is the second year Mintz + Hoke has participated and earned a top five spot in the small/medium-size employer category. The category includes companies that employ 15-199 people.

Best Places to Work honorees are solely determined based on a confidential two-part survey process. The first part consists of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Connecticut, analyzed the data, and completed the final rankings.
