The South Shore Chamber of Commerce has named Darlene Hollywood of Marshfield to the Chamber’s Board of Directors for a one-year term.

Hollywood is the principal and founder of the Plymouth, MA based Hollywood Public Relations, which she launched in 2011 after a career which included affiliations with a number of leading communications and public relations firms. Her agency has been recognized by the New England Publicity Club with more than a dozen Bell Ringer awards and with several international Hermes Creative awards. Hollywood Public Relations also landed on Boston Business Journal’s 2016 list of Fastest Growing Private Companies.

Prior to establishing Hollywood Public Relations, she was a director at Horn Group, where she led account teams in establishing market share for a myriad of enterprise software start-ups. Before joining Horn Group, Hollywood was vice-president at Laura Tomasetti & Associates (now 360 Public Relations), an agency serving consumer goods targeted to moms. At Hollywood Public Relations she leads a talented team of dynamic individuals focused on social and media relations campaigns for consumer companies and business service organizations.

The Woburn, MA native has been on the South Shore for more than a decade. She is active in PRSA (Public Relations Society of America), currently serving as a delegate to the national assembly and is a Past President of the Boston chapter. She is a member of Toastmasters International. Hollywood holds a B.S. in Mass Communications from Emerson College.
