Mr. Chaves brings to MFA over 15 years of experience providing tax planning and compliance services to individuals, corporations, LLCs, partnerships, trusts and estates. Andrew’s longstanding relationship with his client base allows him to work closely with them to meet their tax compliance requirements all while providing the insight they need to make informed decisions with respect to their business, personal and family tax matters.
Mr. Landon has 15 years of experience in the technical aspects of federal and multi-state tax returns for corporate, pass-through entities, high net worth individuals, fiduciaries, closely-held businesses, estates and trusts. Matt leverages this expertise along with his broad range of knowledge in complex tax issues including real estate and private equity investments, entity selection and structuring, and business succession planning, in order to have a meaningful impact on the lives and welfare of MFA’s client base.
Mr. Mahan has more than 11 years of experience in public accounting. In his role at MFA, Jerry provides comprehensive tax solutions and technical expertise to both individual and corporate clients. His proactive and responsive leadership approach validates his ability to meet and exceed client expectations efficiently and effectively. In addition to managing compliance issues and implementing tax strategies, Jerry provides experienced family and fiduciary tax consulting to address the most complex financial challenges faced by MFA’s client base.
Mr. McKenzie brings over 18 years of experience in public accounting to his role at MFA. A seasoned audit professional, Scott works closely with venture-backed, emerging growth and sophisticated public and privately held companies in the software, life sciences, clean-tech, manufacturing and distribution industries. He provides tremendous value to these companies not only in the areas of audit and attestation but also through unique operational guidance. Scott’s expertise includes software revenue recognition, complex equity and revenue arrangements, stock compensation and accounting for mergers and acquisitions.
