Mark Weidman Joins Harvest’s Board of Directors

WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Harvest Power, Inc., a leader in organics sustainability solutions, today announced that Mark Weidman has joined its board of directors, providing guidance at the intersection of organic waste and renewable energy production.

“Mark brings a unique breadth and depth of experience to our board,” said Mike Ahearn, Chairman of Harvest’s board of directors. He continued, “His deep background in the organic waste business and his experience scaling and leading a global waste to energy company provides valuable perspective as we shape Harvest’s next growth phase.”

Mark Weidman previously served as CEO and President of Wheelabrator Technologies Inc., a waste-to-energy company and former subsidiary of Waste Management, Inc. Prior to that he served as COO of the processing division at Synagro Technologies, Inc., a leading wastewater recycling company. Mr. Weidman holds a B.S. in Water Resources Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania State University and is a registered professional engineer.

Separately, Harvest’s board of directors promoted Todd Hauser to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Todd joined Harvest earlier this year and served as the company’s Vice President of Corporate Finance and Development.
