Christopher Whelan
Florence Bank,a mutually-owned savings bank serving the Pioneer Valley through 9 branch locations, has promoted Christopher J. Whelan of Northampton, MA to the position of Collections Officer.
Prior to the promotion, Whelan served the Bank as Senior Collector. He first joined Florence Bank in April 2011 as a teller at the King Street office in Northampton. Whelan studied at Holyoke Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
He is active in community events, serving as President of the Northampton Area Young Professionals; as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Cutchins Program for Children and Families.
