Mark Henry, CPA, MSA, Audit Director at KAF, one of the leading CPA and business consulting firms in the Boston area, has been named a Cape & Plymouth Business “40 Under 40” award winner for 2016.

The 40 Under 40 Awards spotlight the region’s top young business leaders who excel in their industry and show dynamic leadership. This program honors distinguished businesspeople under the age of 40 who have made a mark at an extraordinarily young age. Hundreds of nominees were culled down to the 40 individuals who best exemplified an entrepreneurial spirit, commitment to community service, and potential to positively contribute to the future of the region.

Henry has over twelve years of experience in public accounting, with significant experience in high-tech, manufacturing, distribution, professional services and employee benefit industries. Henry, who has been with KAF since 2009, currently serves as the firm’s Accounting and Auditing Committee Chair. He is an active member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Massachusetts’s Family Business Association and the New England chapter of the Commercial Finance Association.

Henry volunteers his time on the Abington Little League Board of Directors, and also coaches his children’s baseball and football teams. He volunteers with a non-profit organization in Somerville assisting with internal financial reporting and presentations to the Board of Directors and serves on the government affairs committee for the South Shore Chamber of Commerce.

The honorees will be celebrated at a special event on June 16, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel in Falmouth.
