Vantage Builders, Inc., a general contracting and construction firm based in Waltham, Mass., is pleased to announce the appointment of construction industry veteran Andy Roy as project manager.  Mr. Roy is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing ground-up construction, design-build and renovation projects for the firm’s commercial, educational, medical, retail and life sciences clients.

A construction industry veteran with more than 18 years of experience, Mr. Roy previously held project management roles with Timberline Construction, Highland Development, Consigli Construction and Payton Construction.  He has successfully completed projects for a wide range of clients, including Boston University, Tahaza Hummus Kitchen, Broadcom Corporation, Brandeis University, Lesley University, Acetylon Pharmaceuticals, Unidesk, Seven Hills Foundation, State Street, Reebok, Phillips Medical Systems and Fidelity Investments.

Mr. Roy graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering Technology.  He holds a construction supervisor license with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts along with 30- and 10-hour OSHA certifications.
