Boston pharmaceutical marketing agency, ramarketing, will grow over 75pc this year due to surging global demand for the company’s industry expertise in drug development and manufacturing.

The organisation has secured several major contracts from R&D, contract manufacturing and platform technology companies operating in the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology market.

Recent deals have included work from firms in India, Japan, Korea, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, the Benelux region and across the US, with many working on the front line in the fight against COVID-19 in terms of treatments and potential vaccine development.

As a result of its soaring revenues, the life science marketing specialist is embarking on another major recruitment drive to support the company’s continued growth in 2021.

The fast growing design, content and integrated marketing agency, which also has teams in mainland Europe and across the UK, has added 13 new recruits to the team in 2020 and plans to grow staff numbers by 50pc in 2021 with the creation of a further 18 new jobs in Europe and the US.

Founder and global president at ramarketing, Raman Sehgal, said: “This has been a very difficult year for all of us at a personal level and I am so very grateful that our business has managed to stay stable, retain all of our people and increasingly support clients in need during this period.

“Like many businesses, we’ve had to adapt our working conditions and we’ve worked very hard at supporting our team and keeping spirits up during the transition. The performance of the business is testament to the team’s resilience and determination to simply serve our clients.

“Our deep industry expertise in drug development has enabled us to grow quickly and internationally for several years now. Although we feared and planned for the worst like many after COVID-19 arrived, we were fortunately well placed to support many companies that operate in the life science space, especially those requiring COVID-19 communications.

“The economic outlook globally is pretty bleak at the moment so I’m very proud that we are managing to provide a note of optimism by continuing to invest, grow and create new job opportunities” added Raman.

The award-winning agency now has 45 people across the UK, Europe and US, delivering creative, digital marketing and communications services to companies operating in the global pharmaceutical space. Its clients include some of the biggest names in the sector along with many fast growing life science companies.
