BayCoast Bank is pleased to announce Helena Moronta of Cranston, Rhode Island, as Vice President, Business Development and Relationship Management Officer.

In this role, Moronta is principally responsible for raising revenue and expanding business opportunities that allow the Bank to achieve and sustain its mission. Her primary objective is to identify new business opportunities by building partnerships and strategic alliances that will extend BayCoast Bank’s presence in the community and increases avenues of support.

She will be based in BayCoast Bank’s Providence, Rhode Island office, which is slated to open later this year.

Moronta joins BayCoast Bank with 14 years of experience in the banking industry, most recently as an Officer; Branch Manager with Liberty Bank in Middletown, Connecticut.

A graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and International Business, Moronta is National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) licensed and certified in Small Business Lending, Financial Reporting and Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending.

Moronta, who is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, lives in Cranston, Rhode Island. She is an active volunteer with numerous organizations including Project Goal, the United Way of Rhode Island and Connecticut, HOLA, Women’s Leadership Collaborative, Gloria Gemma, Big Brothers Big Sisters and A Wish Come True.
