NeighborWorks® Housing Solutions (NHS), the leading housing service provider in southeastern Massachusetts, is pleased to announce their partnership with MCTV to produce a series of short videos updating the town of Marshfield on the status of the new housing project for formerly homeless veterans. The premiere show aired on Memorial Day, and video updates from community leaders will continue through the summer.
In this video series, NeighborWorks® Housing Solutions discusses the converting of the South Grammar School (2033 Ocean Street) into eight single-occupant units for formerly homeless veterans and the necessary steps taken for the historic structure to be re-purposed to help these individuals. Along with the housing units, the building will house the Marshfield Historical society and have on-site staffing and new office space to assist veterans with resources convenient to them. Completion of the home is expected to be later this fall.
