The Massachusetts Pirates to Hold 98.5 The Sports Hub night on Saturday, May 12th at DCU

Pirates head into the game against Maine with a 4-1 winning record; shuttle buses now available from Boston


The Massachusetts Pirates will hold 98.5 The Sports Hub night beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 12th featuring the Patriots Player Scott Zolak who will cheer on the first place Pirates (4-1) at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA.

The Pirates are currently the top scoring offence in the National Arena League averaging 71.2 points per game. They host the Maine Mammoths (1-3). The Pirates are 3-0 at home.

The fun begins at 3 pm at the Bud Light Tailgate Zone featuring the 98.5 street team, as well as music, food and beverages. Fans can get tickets at ticketmaster.com or the DCU Center; use the promo code word “HUB” for a 50% discount.

The Massachusetts Pirates quarterback Sean Brackett has thrown at least five touchdown passes in every game played. He is 66 of 115 with 21 touchdowns against five interceptions. Devonn Brown leads the Pirates with 431 receiving yards and ten touchdowns and Lavon Pearson tops the team with 23 receptions. A new addition to the team, Mardy Gilyard has six touchdown grabs in his first two games. Dashawn Johnson and London Crawford each have 22 yards rushing for the Pirates.

On the defensive side Kiante Northington is leading the team in tackles with 25.5, four interceptions and five passes broken up. Defensive Back John Hardy-Tuliau has 20 tackles, four picks and four passes broken up.

Fans can also enjoy the games on NESN (New England Sports Network) which is televising all eight (8) Pirates home games during the 2018 season on tape-delay on NESNplus. Each of these games will also air on NESN National and on NESN primary during the week.

NESN is also airing an all access show on the team with behind the scenes footage.

NESN will also be airing multiple thirty minute documentary specials beginning in May, following the Pirates as they navigate through their first season of action. The audience will get an in depth look at the lives of the players, coaches and front office members who are at the forefront of Massachusetts’ newest professional sports franchise.
