BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LTC Global, Inc. today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Charles T. Smith Insurance Agency, Inc., and Charles T. Smith Companies of Florida, Inc. Timothy M. Smith will continue to serve as president of the Smith Companies and manage their operations. The Smith Companies are a member of Capitas Financial, Inc. and will continue to operate as a Capitas member. LTC Global previously acquired another Capitas member, Pacific Southwest Financial & Insurance Services, Inc., in July 2017.

Smith, a licensed producer, joined the Smith Companies in 1985 and held various positions, from case designer to Sales Vice President, before becoming President in 2012. Smith has been one of the top field producers in the industry, leading Capitas in sales for twelve straight years. Smith participates in many industry advisory bodies, including the Lincoln Life Advisory Council.
