Partners Insurance Group, LLC, one of the region’s leading independent insurance agencies with eight locations in Southeastern MA and RI, participated in the recent Gifts to Give craft fair, helping to raise funds for the “philanthropy factory” in Acushnet, Massachusetts, where young people from the region process donated children’s gear that is then recycled, re-purposed and gifted to local children in need.
The primary mission of Gifts to Give is to provide all SouthCoast young people – the privileged and those in-need – an opportunity to practice Big Citizenship and Tangible Philanthropy through their gifts of time and treasure. Children come to understand, through their “doing,” the power of giving and service and that everyone has gifts to give.
Staff members from Partners Insurance Group donated their time, baked goods and handmade crafts to help make the December 10th craft fair a success, also presenting a check in the amount of $1,000 to Gifts to Give. The donation was made possible by Union Mutual, a regional insurance company offering products for individuals and businesses in New England and New York; Union Mutual is one of several insurance companies Partners Insurance Group works with to successfully meet clients’ needs.
