The new subsidiary, Raytheon Emirates, will be headquartered in Abu Dhabi and marks the company's 30-year anniversary partnership with the UAE.

The unit will "support the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 by forming an aerospace and defense business that fosters cyber-secure digital transformation and contributes to the nation's economic diversification," Raytheon (NYSE:RTN) said in a press release.
