EiQ Networks’ Phil Demeo Named to CRN “100 People You Don’t Know But Should” List

10/5/16

Phil Demeo

EiQ Networks, a pioneer in hybrid security as a service, announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized its Vice President of Alliances, Phil Demeo, as one of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should in the IT channel for 2016.

The CRN editorial team, assessing feedback from solution providers and other industry executives, compiles this annual list to celebrate under-the-radar channel management team members from the industry's top vendors and distributors. Those selected have worked tirelessly to create, promote, and manage programs and policies that support and advance the IT channel.

Phil Demeo oversees the Global Partner Program at EiQ Networks. He not only manages the existing reseller supply chain, he is responsible for identifying and signing new partners that are looking to extend their existing services portfolio. Demeo is also tasked with helping partners in all phases of the sales process, including overseeing his team as they fully manage the implementation, set-up, and configuration of the company’s SOCVue® service.

“We congratulate Phil on being included in this list of ‘unsung heroes,’” said Dick Faulkner, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at EiQ Networks. “He definitely deserves this honor. Our partner program continues to grow, and flourish, under Phil’s leadership. We remain committed to growing our channel program and to our continuing goal to provide the around-the-clock cybersecurity expertise that will allow our resellers to be successful.”

EiQ Networks’ partner program currently includes dozens of resellers serving organizations in a variety of industries, including financial services, healthcare, education, and more. Growth of the program parallels the rapid adoption of EiQ’s SOCVue hybrid security as a service by mid-market organizations across the U.S. EiQ announced a 136 percent year-over-year increase in its overall customer base for Q2, 2016, in July.

“There are a number of people who work behind the scenes in the channel whose efforts do not often receive widespread attention, although they truly help to hold up the entire industry and make it the thriving, smoothly functioning ecosystem that it is,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are pleased to shine a spotlight on these individuals with CRN’s 2016 list of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should list and to honor their important work, which quietly underpins the infrastructure of the IT channel and allows the community to advance as a whole.”

The 2016 list of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should is now available online at www.crn.com/100people.
