Swagger Earns API Award for Reputation in Industry, Recent Media Coverage and Innovativeness of API Initiatives
SmartBear Software, the leader in software quality tools for teams, announced that Swagger received a 2016 API Award for the category, API Infrastructure, at API World 2016 Conference & Expo, taking place on Monday, September 12 – Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in San Jose, California. The API industry’s largest award event, the 2016 API Awards received hundreds of nominations, and the API World advisory board selected Swagger based on three criteria: reputation in the API industry, recent media coverage and innovativeness of the API initiatives. Swagger has been the leading API description format used by developers in almost every modern programming language and deployment environment to design and deliver APIs since 2011.
