Last month, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker presented Ed Marsh, founder and principal of Consilium Global Business Advisors, LLC, with the President's "E" Award for Export Service at a ceremony in Washington, DC. The President's "E" Award is the highest recognition any U.S. entity can receive for making a significant contribution to the expansion of U.S. exports.
Based in Ipswich, MA, Consilium assists American manufacturers in applying process excellence to their business development. Consilium works primarily with mid-size industrial manufacturing companies, guiding them through a journey of designing and executing business grade B2B inbound marketing and focused, profitable global market expansion.
In February, Secretary Pritzker appointed Ed to a four-year term with the Massachusetts District Export Council, which works to advocate trade policy and support export programs. Ed also currently serves as Exporting Advisor to American Express. He will moderate the upcoming July 12 American Express Grow Global event in Baltimore, a free program designed to help small and medium sized enterprises get training and connections needed to expand their global footprint.
